Solidarity Walk
On June 5th, hundreds of people marched across the Brooklyn bridge in support of the Child Victims Act, an initiative that would eliminate both the criminal and civil statutes of limitation for child sexual abuse in New York. It would also provide a one-time, one-year window in the statute of limitations that would enable victims whose claim was time-barred to seek justice. Hopefully, Oklahoma will soon be pursuing similar legislation.
In a sign of solidarity, ToPrevail held a simultaneous walk at LaFortune park.
